- THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT: (RE)PUBLISHING WOMEN'S SHORT STORIES, Tues 16 July, 1-5pm, Senate House Library, free entry: Join four publishers (including Silver Press!) bringing women writers from the archives into new readers’ hands, and three contemporary short fiction writers and editors, for two panels discussing how to ensure that women’s short stories have a long future. Editor Alice Spawls will talk about Leonora Carrington's THE DEBUTANTE AND OTHER STORIES.
