CALL FOR POETRY SUBMISSIONS | Spiral House Editions X fieldnotes collective

Spiral House Editions X fieldnotes collective present a new anthology — Seed/Spore/Rhizome: Ecopoetics of Community and Justice — edited by Pratyusha, Jessica J. Lee, Alycia Pirmohamed and Nina Mingya Powles. Submissions close Friday 30th April, 2025.

What might an ecopoetics of community and justice look like? Spiral House Editions, in collaboration with fieldnotes collective, are now seeking submissions for a new anthology of poetry exploring ecological futures, justice, collaboration and community. How might we (re)imagine a future shaped by collaboration, community and solidarity? We are open to poems that incorporate other literary forms or push the boundary of the poetry genre in some way. We are also open to collaborative and/or multilingual submissions, though poems must be primarily in English (please see the full submission requirements below).

Submission requirements

  • Please send your submission as PDF or Word Document attachment in an email to hello@silverpress.org by Friday 30th April, 2025

  • There is no limit on the number of poems you include in your submission, but your submission should be no more than 6 pages. Please include all poems in the same document.

  • Each person can only send one submission.

  • Submissions should be primarily in English, but the use or inclusion of additional languages is welcomed and encouraged
